During October, the Medina Region Municipality conducted over 11,900 inspection tours of commercial establishments across various sectors. These efforts aimed to enhance compliance with health requirements and approved standards while improving the quality of services provided to residents and visitors.
The municipality trained 1,575 individuals as part of a health education program designed to raise awareness of proper health practices in food service environments and strengthen the implementation of public safety standards.
As part of food safety efforts during the same period, 4,127 food samples were tested. Results showed that 3,930 samples met safety standards, while 197 non-compliant samples were handled according to approved regulations to ensure consumer safety.
These initiatives are part of the municipality’s plans to enhance field monitoring and create a secure urban environment that contributes to improving quality of life in Medina, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
