TANGERANG – The Department of Housing, Settlements, and Land Affairs (Disperkimtan) of Tangerang City is improving community sanitation through the Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) program, supported by Bank BRI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

The Head of Disperkimtan in Tangerang City explained that this sanitation improvement involves providing portable toilets for residents, funded by Bank BRI’s CSR initiative.

“We are collaborating with BRI to enhance sanitation facilities for the people of Tangerang City,” he said.

According to him, the portable toilets can be used by various groups, including event organizers hosting large gatherings that require additional sanitation support.

“For example, the recent Porprov VI Banten event involved many participants and required such facilities,” he added.

Bank BRI has provided 13 portable toilet units to the Tangerang City Government through Disperkimtan. The assistance has been available since November 2022.

He further explained that Bank BRI, through its “BRI Cares” program, supports sanitation improvements by supplying portable toilets for Tangerang City residents.

“In essence, BRI, through the TJSL Forum, contributes to enhancing sanitation in Tangerang City,” he emphasized.

Government agencies or community organizations can request the portable toilets by submitting a written application to the Department of Housing, Settlements, and Land Affairs of Tangerang City.
