When redeeming tickets with points, up to eight additional recipients can be added, but this is typically for non-commercial use among friends and family. Regarding the sale of tickets using points on platforms, legal experts noted that this violates platform rules and legal regulations.
Using points to resell tickets breaches platform policies and legal provisions. The 12306 platform clearly states that member points are non-transferable and are only for personal or family use. Long-term ticket purchasing for profit may also constitute the crime of scalping train tickets. It is advised that passengers avoid purchasing tickets through such channels, as buying tickets through unofficial avenues not only carries risks of contract breaches and fraud but also potential information leaks.
