The Christmas event “BALLPARK Xmas YOKOHAMA KANNAI 2025” will be held at Yokohama Park (Yokohama Park, Naka Ward, Yokohama City) as the main venue from November 21st.
The concept is “Spotlight,” focusing the spotlight on visitors and the entire city, with content that both adults and children can enjoy day and night.
According to the event area map released, six areas will be set up in the park: “Xmas Tree Area,” “Star Area,” “Stage,” “Kids Area,” “Hutte Town Area,” and “Goods Area.”
The “Xmas Tree Area” will feature a white Christmas tree illuminated with warm white LED lights. The “Star Area” will have multiple star-shaped photo spots.
The “Stage” will host various weekly themes from November 21st to December 25th, featuring artists and performers aligned with each theme to energize the venue.
Part of the “Kids Area” will have artificial turf, creating a space where children can play and move around. Wall displays will include “interactive features that make you want to play,” such as “a maze to Santa’s house,” “spot the difference,” and “find Santa!” On November 29th and 30th, designated as “Lego Block Day,” a large Christmas tree will be built using 30,000 Lego bricks. Weekend activities in this area will offer entertainment for both adults and children.
The “Hutte Town Area” will feature 20 shops offering Christmas-themed gourmet foods, including Frankfurt’s “Frankfurter Schnitzel,” heart-shaped churros, and beef stew in an edible bread bowl. Each shop will also serve cocoa topped with unique Christmas characters.
The “Goods Area” will have five shops selling miscellaneous items like snow globes, candle holders, and Christmas wreaths, as well as event-exclusive collaboration goods with “Moomin.”
Operating hours are from 11:00 to 22:00 (starting at 17:00 on November 21st, and until 21:00 until December 5th). Lighting hours are from 16:00 to 23:00. Admission is free. The event runs until December 25th.

The “Yokohama Port Photogenic Illumination 2025” is currently taking place on the rooftop of the Yokohama Port Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal.
This year’s theme is “Mountain River of Light ~Rose Garden and River of Light~.” The area titled “Rose Garden and River of Light” features lights modeled after Yokohama’s city flower, the rose, creating a fantastical “rose garden” of light. Additionally, blue flowing lights resembling a “river of light” envelop the terminal. White and blue LEDs are also installed in the lawn plaza. Viewing Minato Mirai and Yamashita Park alongside the LED lights creates a “dramatic effect.”
People can be seen enjoying photography on the rooftop of the Yokohama Port Osanbashi International Passenger Terminal, capturing the overlapping lights of the illumination and the city. Visitors are encouraged to enjoy the 360-degree panoramic view of the Minato Mirai area, symbolizing Yokohama, which was selected as one of the “Japan’s New Three Major Night View Cities,” along with the Yokohama Bay Bridge, and the collaboration with the Yokohama Port Photogenic Illumination.
Lighting hours are from 17:00 to 22:00. The event runs until February 28th.
