The “Chongqing-Southeast Asia Cultural Tourism Market Alliance” was established, the “Bayu Family” IP and a series of global planning and investment projects were released, and a package of cooperation agreements was signed… On November 17, the highlight event of the “‘Come to Chongqing, Dong it’ Beautiful Year Corridor Cultural Tourism Festival” series—the Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group 2025 Global Partners Conference was held at the Liangjiang Holiday Hotel, promoting Chongqing’s development as a world-renowned cultural tourism destination.
The conference, themed “Gathering in Majestic Landscapes, Savoring the New Charm of Chongqing,” brought together over 200 participants including domestic and international channel distributors, partners, and representatives from tourism organizations.
During the conference, the “Chongqing-Southeast Asia Cultural Tourism Market Alliance” was officially inaugurated in the presence of all guests. This alliance, led by the Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group, brings together tourism organizations, airlines, and cultural tourism enterprises from countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
The alliance will jointly build a market integration system and shape an international cultural tourism brand. It will establish a regional cultural tourism market coordination mechanism to facilitate the free flow of resources such as tourists, capital, and talent; implement a “Tourist Exchange Doubling Plan” to collaboratively create a cultural tourism brand matrix; and establish a cross-regional complaint handling linkage mechanism.
The alliance will jointly develop premium product matrices and explore cultural integration and innovation. It will co-develop cross-border themed tourism routes, focusing on products such as “Landscape Exploration Journeys,” “Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Tours,” and “Land-Sea Corridor Study Tours.” It will also promote the integration of “tourism+” with other sectors, fostering new formats like smart tourism, wellness tourism, and festival tourism to enhance the competitiveness of regional cultural tourism products.
The alliance will jointly build cultural exchange platforms and create bridges for mutual learning and integration. It will hold annual exchange meetings to establish a flagship brand for regional cultural tourism exchanges and co-build a “Digital Cultural Tourism Resource Library” to make cultural exchanges visible and tangible.
The alliance will also jointly strengthen industrial support capabilities, cultivate talent, and improve services and infrastructure; jointly build a sustainable development ecosystem and protect green, low-carbon resources.
In addition to releasing the “Bayu Family” IP, the Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group also unveiled global initiatives such as the “Chongqing Cultural Tourism IP Introduction and Cultivation Plan,” the “Lehe Ledu Upgrade and 5A Creation Global Planning and Investment Plan,” and the “Tongjing World-Class Hot Spring Resort Creation Global Planning and Investment Plan.”
The Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group also held a collective awarding and signing ceremony. The group presented “Regional Marketing” plaques to several domestic channel distributors and “Image Display Store” plaques to international channel distributors. The “Chongqing-Southeast Asia Cultural Tourism Market Alliance” awarded “International Student Cultural Tourism Promotion Practice Base” plaques to five universities. Signing ceremonies were held for 2026 scenic area market channel cooperation, 2026 cruise market channel cooperation, government and state-owned enterprise project cooperation, and diversified market entity project cooperation.
A representative from a French tourism organization shared that her first visit to Chongqing felt like stepping into a science fiction movie. Returning this time, she was impressed by the new “Dong it” concept. She expressed commitment to serving as a “promotion ambassador,” carefully designing travel itineraries for European tourists to Chongqing to attract more visitors from Europe.
“This conference has deepened cooperative linkages, opened channels for connecting domestic and international cultural tourism resources, and strengthened strategic synergy with global partners. It has built a cooperative ecosystem, establishing a long-term mechanism for cultural tourism cooperation between China’s Chongqing and Southeast Asia. Furthermore, through resource promotion, channel building, and open investment invitations, we have solidified the foundation for high-quality industrial development,” stated a representative from the Chongqing Cultural Tourism Group.
