The man is suspected of repeatedly slapping and punching the face of an 18-year-old junior fisherman at a restaurant in Hanazono 1-chome, Otaru City, between approximately 1:30 AM and 2:30 PM on October 21, causing injuries.

The junior suffered injuries to his head and face, including a fractured cheekbone, and is in serious condition requiring three months to fully recover.

The incident came to light when the victim reported to the police station around 10:30 AM, stating, “I was assaulted by my senior at work.”

The man was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time.

During questioning, the man admitted to the allegations, stating, “There is no mistake that I hit my junior.” The police are investigating the motive behind the assault.
