The event was organized in collaboration with the PDIP Bekasi City branch, with hundreds of residents enthusiastically participating in free health check-ups and eye examinations.
The activity was part of the PDIP West Java Baguna roadshow, which visited 27 cities and regencies in commemoration of Bung Karno Month. Bekasi City was selected as one of the main locations for the event.
“This demonstrates PDIP’s closeness to the people. We don’t just come during campaigns but remain committed to serving the community,” said the PDIP Bekasi City branch chairperson at the office on Chairil Anwar Street.
The chairperson emphasized that such activities would continue to be held regularly. “This is not just ceremonial. We want to ensure the health of residents, especially those in need,” they stated.
The enthusiasm of the residents for participating in the social service event was very high.
“Our target was 700 participants, but the turnout was much higher. Most came for eye exams and blood pressure checks,” said a representative.
Attendees appreciated the social service initiative organized by the PDIP Bekasi City branch.
“I received a free check-up and glasses. It’s great to see a party that cares like this,” said one participant.
The event proceeded smoothly with health protocols in place. PDIP plans to hold similar social services in other areas of West Java.
