VTB Group (MOEX: ) has sold the Hyatt Regency Moscow Petrovsky Park hotel, according to the bank’s press service. The hotel is located near the VTB Arena stadium, close to the Dinamo metro station. The property was sold as part of the strategy to divest non-core assets. The hotel’s total area is nearly 31,000 square meters.
In April, the group’s head stated that VTB Bank plans to sell part of its non-core assets within the next five years. According to him, the group intends to focus on banking operations. In August, VTB sold the Swissotel in Sochi for 10 billion rubles.
