In 2026, the average monthly nominal wage in Moscow could increase by 8%. This is stated in the forecast of socio-economic development of the capital until 2028.
The document specifies that the average salary of a working Muscovite next year will be 196,647 rubles. In 2027, further growth is expected – up to 213.3 thousand rubles, and in 2028 – up to 231.4 thousand rubles.
Also in 2026, real wage growth is projected at 2.4%. The subsistence minimum will be 25,342 rubles per capita (28,940 rubles for the working-age population, 18,971 rubles for pensioners, and 21,903 rubles for children). In 2027 and 2028, this indicator will increase to 26,609 rubles and 27,673 rubles respectively.
