In an effort to strengthen institutional integrity and ensure a clean, bribery-free judicial service, the Tangerang Religious Court has conducted a Declaration and Signing Ceremony for the Joint Commitment to Implement the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) in 2025.
It is known that in 2024, the Head of the Supervisory Agency issued Decree No. 15/BP/SK/PW.1.1.1/II/2024 concerning Guidelines for SMAP Implementation in all courts, which can serve as a reference for work units.
The Chairman of the Tangerang Religious Court stated that SMAP is not merely a formality but a tangible commitment to reject all forms of bribery and corruption in carrying out public service duties.
“Serious about its implementation, the Tangerang Religious Court has formed an SMAP Team, strengthened socialization and communication, implemented SMAP, conducted periodic evaluations, and pursued certification from the Supervisory Agency,” he said on Thursday, July 10, 2025.
He also emphasized the importance of fostering a work culture based on integrity, accountability, and transparency.
The implementation of SMAP at the Tangerang Religious Court is a concrete step toward realizing a judicial system free from corruption and bribery.
“The implementation of SMAP is expected to create a clean, professional, and trustworthy work environment while increasing public trust in religious judicial institutions,” he added.
It is known that the Chairman of the Tangerang Religious Court holds the Top Management position, while the Deputy Chairman serves as the Head of the SMAP Team.
The Tangerang Religious Court has been selected to participate in the Anti-Bribery Management System (SMAP) program under Decree No. 12/BP/SK.PW1/II/2025 issued by the Head of the Supreme Court Supervisory Agency on February 27, 2025. It previously received the WBK Work Unit award in 2019.
With this declaration and signing, the Tangerang Religious Court is ready to implement the SMAP Development Program in 2025.
