«Child Art School in Anapa to complete repairs by October 1»
In Anapa, a major renovation of the Children’s Art School is underway. The work is being carried out as part of the national project «Family.» The timeline for the project was discussed with the contractor.
The school, which opened in 1971, has never undergone a comprehensive renovation before. Nearly 30 million rubles have been allocated from the consolidated budget for this purpose, with an additional 10 million rubles earmarked for the complete technical modernization of the facility. New equipment will be purchased for the school, and digital video surveillance integrated into the «Dome» system will be installed.
Currently, demolition work, wall plastering, and floor leveling have been fully completed. The heating system installation is nearing completion, and work is underway on partitioning, doorways, and utility networks.
The school’s interior will feature light colors and a modern style. Accessibility for people with limited mobility, air conditioning, and an enhanced heating system are also part of the plan.
The renovation is scheduled for completion by October 1, after which students will return to a refreshed and comfortable learning environment.

Dome system
The **Dome System** refers to the network of geodesic domes designed by architect Buckminster Fuller in the mid-20th century, showcasing his innovative approach to lightweight, efficient structures. These domes became iconic for their strength, sustainability, and futuristic design, influencing modern architecture and engineering. Fuller’s most famous example, the **Montreal Biosphère (1967)**, demonstrated the potential of geodesic domes for large-scale environmental and habitable spaces.
