KOTA BEKASI – A member of the Commission IV of the Bekasi City Council supports the policy of setting the number of students per class at 44 in the New Student Admission System for the 2025/2026 academic year. This step is said to optimize the number of elementary graduates that can be accommodated in public middle schools.
“We all know that the number of elementary school graduates each year in Bekasi City is not proportional to the number of available public schools. With the 44-student policy, only about 47 percent of elementary graduates can enter public middle schools,” said the official.
