A video is going viral on social media showing clear water leakage in the coach of Mumbai’s AC local train, often called the city’s lifeline. The video shows water dripping from the ceiling of the train compartment.
On Saturday night, water suddenly started leaking in the AC local train that departed from Andheri to Bhayandar, causing major problems for passengers. Due to the water dripping, passengers had to change their seats and many felt uncomfortable during the journey. A complaint has been filed with Western Railway about this incident.
Western Railway has now responded to the matter. Railway officials stated that the identified rake is unit number 7013-7016. This rake has been continuously running on the line since Sunday morning and no complaints have been registered so far. Despite this, taking the passengers’ complaint seriously, the rake will be inspected and necessary corrective measures will be taken. Railways have also expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

It should be noted that continuous rainfall has been occurring in and around the area since Saturday, which may have contributed to this situation developing.
