BANYUWANGI – An emotional atmosphere filled Panglima Sudirman Hall at the 0825 Banyuwangi Military District Command on Wednesday (9/7/2025), as six soldiers were officially discharged to continue their duties in new units. This rotation is part of an internal refreshment initiative within the organization, as well as an effort to optimize personnel.

The six soldiers will join units under the 16th Wira Yudha Infantry Brigade, namely the 836th Brahma Yodha Infantry Battalion in Bangkalan Regency and the 837th Ksatria Trunojoyo Infantry Battalion.

List of Transferred Personnel: Sergeant Major Frediyanto, Sergeant Major Frengky Mchartur Henddbo, Staff Sergeant Suyarno, Sergeant Otis Obet Tugerfi, Corporal Moh Adam Santoso, and Private First Class Yusuf Alvian. They will continue their service in new units with high morale and professionalism.

The Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Arh Joko Sukoyo, expressed appreciation for the dedication of the six members during their service in Banyuwangi. He hoped their fighting spirit would remain strong in their new assignments.

“We are very proud of their performance. May they maintain professionalism and bring honor to their new units,” said Lieutenant Colonel Joko Sukoyo in his speech.

Meanwhile, Major Kav Suprapto emphasized that the transfer is part of the dynamics of military organization, aimed at career development and unit quality improvement.

“We pray for their success and hope they uphold the good name of the 0825 Military District Command. Every experience gained in Banyuwangi will hopefully be valuable preparation for their next assignments,” he said.

The discharge ceremony was solemn yet emotionally charged. A strong sense of camaraderie filled the air, making it not just a farewell but also a moment to inspire the soldiers as they begin the next chapter of their service.

The event also symbolized the solidarity, loyalty, and spirit of the Army Corps, continuously upholding the values of dedication to the nation and state.
