Programs are continuously being rolled out in an effort to stabilize the community’s economy ahead of Eid al-Adha 2025. The Mayor of Bandung outlined three strategic agendas that are currently running and have a direct impact on the needs of the residents, from controlling food prices, animal health, to the availability of jobs.
One program that has attracted public attention is the Cheap Market, which is held for ten full days in 30 districts. Each day, three different locations will become the points of activity. In addition to being a real solution to dampen the spike in staple food prices, this market is also designed as a productive space for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to expand market reach and increase turnover.
